Wiesengrund - die Sonate op. 111: Gabriel Stern

Bei diesem musikalischen Happening spielen das ganze Wochenende über Pianist*innen die letzte Sonate von L. v. Beethoven, Nr. 32 op. 111, um sie immer wieder neu zu hören und zu verstehen.

Das Event findet vom 13.-16.12. in der Meininger Str. 8 in Berlin-Schöneberg statt. Eine Anmeldung oder Ticketbuchung ist nicht erforderlich - alle sind willkommen. Hinter dem Ticketbutton verbirgt sich ein Zeitplan mit einer Übersicht aller Pianist*innen.

Gabriel Stern

French-Israeli pianist, Gabriel Stern was formed at „Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève“ in the class of Cédric Pescia. After obtaining his Bachelor of Arts, and after his Master’s degree in concert, he continued to pursue his course under Eliso Virsaladze at „Fondazione Scuola di Musica di Fiesole“ where Gabriel did his Postgraduate Studies. He then joined the class of Nelson Goerner at the „Haute Ecole de Musique de Gèneve, where he perfects his piano skills in a Soloist Master.
Since 2017, Gabriel has been supported by the Otto and Régine Heim Foundation and the Tempo Foundation in Geneva. Gabriel has had the opportunity to work with several personalities from the musical world, including Pavel Nersessian, Philippe Cassard during Masterclasses in France and Switzerland. In February 23, 2019 an audiance was able to listen to him on France Musique live from the Théâtre de l'Alliance Française, in the program presented by Clément Rochefort.
Gabriel just published his first debut album ”Goldberg Variations“ under the Label „Lyrinx“.
His first recording, realized with the support of the “Fondation Tempo“ was released on May 17th 2019 and was well received on „France Musique“ for „its concentration, its intellect and for its far-sightedness“.
